The shallow stream(Alligator Lake outfall) of clean water that runs from the lake to the gulf offers hours of playtime for children chasing crabs & minnows. It has become the family favorite of all our returning guests. Walton County Beaches are famous for their pristine white sands and Coastal Dune Lakes. Mutual Fun boasts a number of guests who have stayed every year since it was built in 1995! Our home combines true privacy, gulf front enjoyment, family friendly styles, no crowds, yet close to everything plus enjoyment of the State Preserve (deer & blue herons are seen frequently). It maybe one of the most UNIQUE homes/locations on 30A.
The open floor plan (10' ceilings) with spacious great room and WELL EQUIPPED kitchen is designed for family time. The fireplace in the den makes it special for off-season getaways. The kitchen with a very large island provides granite counter tops, under counter ice maker, 2 Refrigerators (stainless steel French doors side by side & bottom drawer freezer ), walk in pantry, & an 8' dining table/seating for 10/12. The dining area french doors open to a screened porch with an additional dining table, 2 chairs & 2 benches...the flow continues onto an open deck area (also accessible from the family room) & a covered deck area with lots of adirondack chairs (newly purchased 2019) where you can relax with coffee or cocktails as you enjoy the sights & sounds of the waves. An under deck swing hangs below for a total getaway.
There are two bedrooms downstairs and three more large bedrooms upstairs all with new TV's (Mediacom Cable) and wireless internet provided. Each bedroom(5) has its own modern bathroom (5). Hardwood & Travertine stone floors, glass tile highlights in the bathrooms (2 large hot water heaters) make it the ideal house for a family and friends gathering. Many updates, new furniture purchases, new lighting, freshly painted exterior/trim etc have been completed in the last couple of years.
Private beach access. 6 BEACH CHAIRS & 3 UMBRELLAS PROVIDED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST-March thru October in season. Spacious driveway in addition to covered parking (5 underneath home). Weber Kettle grill provided with lighting for evening cookouts!
Sunday to Sunday rental week. Weekly Only Preferred March Thru October (nightly considered - handled on individual basis with owner approval) 3000 square feet.
